Out of Free Storage error

You apparently have the /proc filesystem compiled in, and I was under
the impression that /proc/swaps appeared (as /proc/swaps, not
/proc/swap) in 2.0.28 (??).  Can you

ls -l /proc/swap* /proc/mount*

and send that?  I think you may just need to upgrade your kernel to
the latest 2.0.x and maybe mount to 2.9, as well.  What distribution
are you running?
