That's exciting stuff.  Looks like the X11 environment will soon have
some really solid choices for API's which are opensource.  Is anyone
on this list a GNOME user.  I'm curious to know how that project is
moving along.

Also, in regards to December's meeting on `Video with Linux', does
anyone have any specifics you would like me to address.  As usual,
I'm planning some ApplixPresents slides, some tech-talk, but mostly
demo.  I'll have my video camera there, so we'll make a BLU MPEG.
So, don't forget to dress for the occasion ;-)

If you have any ideas of what'd we should video for the demo,
speak up.  I was thinking we could smash some MS stuff with a
sledge hammer, galliger (sp?) style.
