I use my Zip Drive also.  You can use it like another hard disk or a tape.  I
currently do my DOS/Windows backup on zip disks using tar (under linux).  It's
very nice and easy to do.  I set my backup to span multiple disks and to ignore
certain files/directories such as "C:\TEMP, C:\WINDOWS\SWAP, C:\NETSCAPE\CACHE,
...".  If interested, I can send my backup script.
